Project FIU Game Room Website Introduction

Part 2(B)

For my project, I chose to create a website for the FIU Game Room, to provide insight into all the available features of the space, notice about upcoming events, and a way for students and faculty to reach out for more information regarding the space and how to reserve it. The website was designed to include detailed information about all the games available, board games, and physical activities such as pool and ping pong. It would have also included a calendar of upcoming events such as tournaments, game nights, and other activities for students to enjoy. There was intent to include a full reservation and contact system but we were limited to simple emails for now.

To gather feedback and analyze said feedback, we utilized our email feature to have a sample of 10 anonymous reviewees browse the website and check it out, citing the 10 questions from the original assignment instructions, to tackle areas that were lacking and focus on in a future iteration of the website. The reviewers were asked to rate their experience with the site using a 5-Point Likert Scale for each of the 10 questions, ranging from Strongly Agree to Strongly Disagree. This feedback helped me identify strengths as all as areas of improvement.

Using Data from the reviewers I was able to construct 4 different charts (In Linked Word Document)

Line Graph: The line graph created from the collected data focused on the strongly agree responses for each statement to show how they varied on each different statement, with dips for the “I didn’t like” statement, showing initial reviews are positive.

Bar Graph: The bar graph was created to illustrate the distribution of feedback across the different response categories to breakdown reviewer perception of the Game Room website prototype.

Pie Chart: The pie chart shows that the dominant response was “Strongly Agree” totaling at 66.3% of all responses.

Stacked Bar Chart: The stacked bar chart is used to visualize he combined distribution of "Agree" and "Neutral" responses for each statement, so as to provide a clear comparison of how reviewers felt about each statement.
